a flomi plan · text booking
Your clients text a number to book, the same way they text you now. It answers in seconds, offers your real open times, takes the deposit, and sends the reminders. You finish the appointment in front of you.
No commission on your bookings, and no fees added to your clients. Deposits go to your own Stripe account.

Example conversations for a made-up shop, written the way the assistant answers in our tests. It says it's automated in its first reply, offers only times that are really open, and asks before it changes anything.
why fast matters
answered within the hour
to turn into a real conversation than the same inquiry answered even an hour later.
the usual wait
was the average first reply across 2,241 US businesses, and 23% never replied at all.
your line
It answers while you’re with a client or asleep, and you can read every conversation.

what you get

answers for you
It offers real open times, holds the one they pick, and answers the questions you get all day: prices, hours, where to park.

protects your time
Nobody's booked until the deposit is paid. A reminder goes out the day before, and moving or cancelling follows your own rules.

fills the gaps
When someone cancels, the people who asked for an earlier time get offered the open spot.

you run it by text
Text your line "off Saturday", send a photo of your schedule, or say you're running late. It shows you who's already booked, and nothing changes until you say yes.

calls, covered
Callers hear a short greeting and can ring through to you. Turn on call notes and, after you hang up, you get a text of what you promised.

in their language
It answers in the language your client writes in, says up front that it's automated, and hands anything unusual to you.
how it works
Send us your menu, prices, deposit and hours. Most of it is already on your Booksy or Instagram.
We set up your number, a page with your menu, and the assistant. Carriers take about two weeks to approve a new business number.
You try it yourself first, and say yes when it sounds right.
Clients text, it books, and the deposits land in your Stripe.
the plan
$3 a booking · $99 max / month
A card on file at the start, and nothing is charged until your line books. On the 1st we text you last month's count and total, and we charge it two days later. A booking is a client who got their time through your line: they paid the deposit, or tapped to confirm a free service.
Your texting number and every text are included. We register it in your business's name and cover its cost. What you pay others: card fees, 2.9% + 30¢ out of each deposit, kept by Stripe. Your own web address is optional, about $11 a year.
On a flomi site plan too? Text booking is the same price on top of it. compare the plans.

| price | $3 a booking, $99 max a month | $50 a month, plus the app (from $28) | $109 a month for 150 minutes |

A booking app’s receptionist may suit you better if you already use that app and want an AI voice answering calls. flomi fits if you don’t want a booking app, want a deposit before every held time, or want a slow month to cost nothing.
Examples: GlossGenius Reception and AgentZap Starter, from each company’s own pricing page, checked Oct 7 2026. Booksy’s AI receptionist is free while in beta and answers calls only.
At 30 bookings, GlossGenius + Reception is $12 a month less than flomi.
flomi is $3 a booking and never more than $99; a month with no bookings costs $0. The others are flat monthly prices. Booksy’s AI receptionist is free while in beta.
our promise
you own itThe number, the Stripe account and your bookings (they live in your own calendar) are in your name. Leave anytime and take all of it.
it doesn't make things upIt only offers times your calendar really has, never invents a price, and passes anything else to you.
you pay when it booksA month it books nothing costs you nothing. If it doesn't sound like your shop, tell us: we switch it off, and your texts land on your phone like they do today.
questions
Yes. It says so in its first reply, and it never pretends to be you. If someone asks for a person, it passes them to you.
It can only offer times that are really open, and it quotes only your prices. When it isn't sure, it hands the conversation to you instead of guessing.
Send them to us. If they start, their first month is free, and you get 20% of what they pay us each month for a year. How referrals work.
Yes. Both sync with Google Calendar, so connect them and your line to the same calendar and each sees the other’s bookings.
Yes, with care. Booksy can't sync with an outside calendar (it only imports one once), so both could sell the same time. If Booksy brings you new clients, keep it: we'll set which hours each one books, or you block times by hand.
Some are good, especially on phone calls, which this doesn’t answer. Ours doesn’t need a booking app at all: it books by text from your own menu, deposit first, in English or Spanish. You pay $3 a booking instead of a plan plus an add-on, the number and the Stripe account are in your name, and we set it up and tune it to how you talk. If you’re happy with your app and most bookings come by phone, keep it.
You can't pick up mid-appointment, and most clients need to handle their appointments outside business hours (81% of salon and spa regulars, in Zenoti's 2025 survey). A text gets an answer in seconds at any hour and leaves you both the time, the price and the deposit link in writing. Plenty of people still like to call, so calls aren't lost: see the next question.
It's your rule: you pick the amount, which services need one, and any service can be free. The deposit is what holds the time, so a no-show doesn't cost you the slot. Clients see the amount before they book.
Your number answers with a short message, in English and Spanish, asking them to text. It can ring your phone first during your hours, and text back a caller you missed. It never answers with an AI voice. If you turn on call notes, the caller first hears that the call is recorded and transcribed; after you hang up, you get a short text of what you promised, with the follow-up ready to send, and the recording is deleted. Notes are off unless you want them.
Yes, if your price depends on it, like braids, color or a tattoo: their photos come straight to your phone. For a cut, it asks them to show you at the appointment.
Yes. It answers in the language your client writes in.
Your menu, prices, deposit and hours, then a 15-minute call with us, or about 20 minutes on your own, to set up your accounts in your name.
A client who books a time through your line: they pay the deposit, or, for a service you made free, they tap to confirm. Moving it, reminders and questions are free. If you refund a deposit, tell us and that booking comes off the bill.
